Bank routing number
I cannot manually change a bank routing number for a new account. The default routing number that automatically populates in the field is incorrect. How can I input the correct routing number?

You cannot by design as this is predetermined. If you are trying to resolve an issue, you should provide the specific bank and what problem you are trying to address.

Yes, this is never set manually but rather is assigned when an account register is activated to connect with a FI/Bank. So the only way this can get changed is to deactivate and reactivate an account with a new online account, or in the process of loading a new QFX data file.
But, as @GeoffG points out, this may or may not be the solution you need. It depends what your issue it. If you share your issue, someone could provide better feedback.

Why does the Routing number matter to you ... as it's REALLY not used by Q?
