I concur.  There are shortcuts missing from the Mac version that have been available in the windows version for years.  I just switched to the Mac and maybe I just haven't found it yet, but would love to know where the "date" shortcut is.  In Windows, I could press control G and it would pop up a window letting me go to straight to today's date.  I can't find a similar shortcut on the Mac.  I tried the help button and it says to press T.  That does nothing for me.

There date shortcuts that work when you are in the date field. Not sure why they are not working for you.

Here are date shortcuts in Quicken Mac:

    TaskShortcut keys
    Today's dateT
    Increment date+
    Decrement date–
    Increment 7 days. or >
    Decrement 7 days, or <
First day of this Week W
    Last day of this weeK
    First day of this MonthM
Last day of this montH H
First day of this Year Y
Last day of this yeaR R

You must be in a date field for these to work. (Some of them may be different from the Windows version, because they tried to keep many of them the same as the legacy Mac version.)

These and other Quicken Mac shortcuts are available in Quicken Help > Keyboard Shortcuts. There are some others which aren't listed there, but it's a pretty solid list.
