Will I be still able to import transactions from a qif or qfx file into Quicken 2007 for Mac.

I received an email from Quicken that states the following:
due to an unrelated security and reliability update, the ability to download transactions will no longer work in Quicken 2007, regardless of your macOS version. I am running Quicken 2007 for Mac, using Sierra.
Will I still be able to download transactions to a qif or qfx file from my credit cards internet site, and then import those transactions into my Quicken accounts? (i.e. not using direct download)

"Will I still be able to download transactions to a qif or qfx"Sorry, but no, as that's still a download function.Q user since DOS version 5

Because Q "calls home" with each import (or download) to verify that the Q product is still eligible for downloads AND that the file was produced by a "Participating Financial Institution"AND, you downloaded the product to get it on to "your own computer".Q user since DOS version 5

One correction, though Quicken does call home when loading QFX data to verify that the software and the FI/Bank are valid, Quicken does NOT call home for QIF imports. So that should theoretically still work.
