This causes me more work not less. I don't want it to pre fill the splits as it usually gets it wrong. I'm wondering if there is a way to turn this off without going through every payee?

You can also start typing the Payee then once you have the correct partial match press OPT-TAB. This will clear all data except the Payee. Then you can enter the categories you want.

No, there is not at this time. If you have some Payees you use a lot, you might want to create/edit QuickFill rules for them without memos in the splits, so you can avoid this for the majority of your transactions.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930
