Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I was checking on that order and see that it was placed through our website. Like NotACPA said, if you did purchase from the website then there's no activation code needed. Could you double check that the order you recently placed and your current quicken subscription are on the same email? If you open quicken across the top click on help -> About quicken. This will tell you your current email and then the order should have an email that it was sent to.

Who did you buy Quicken from?If from Q itself, no activation code is needed. Your product was activated the moment that you bought it.If from elsewhere, the activation code should have been sent from that vendor.

Also, a common misunderstanding regarding upgrades. You do need to download Quicken Subscription and install if you are migrating from a prior version (Q2017). QSubscription will not update Q2017.

Thank you. I see that the email that the order was placed through is [removed - privacy], but Quicken is demanding that I sign in through [removed - privacy]. How do I untangle this tangle??0
