Transactions

Why don’t all transactions update upon signing in? After signing in, I have to hit the refresh button to download most transactions especially bank transactions. This is time consuming.

There is no Scheduled Updates option in Quicken Mac. And there is no Preferences setting to update transactions when you open Quicken Mac.
You'll need to press the circle with the arrow in the top part of the Sidebar to initiate any downloads except Security Price Updates.
Security prices can be set in Preferences to update when you start Quicken Mac...or from the Investing screen by selecting the circle with the arrow... or using the same One Step Update you use to download transactions.5 -
Hello @wmdobbs
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your question, although I apologize that scheduled updates are currently unavailable for the Mac version.
If you haven't done so already, please take a moment to review the information HERE to create an Idea post so that others may vote to add this feature to Quicken for Mac.
Thank you,

You can either Schedule Updates to run at a time of your choosing (I use 7am), ORYou can have updates run when you open Q.In my opinion, since I'm in and out of Q several times a day, the latter choice would be MOST time consuming. There is no other "automatic downloads" into Q.To set up "Scheduled Updates", click TOOLS, Schedule Updates and proceed from there.NOTE that Scheduled Updates can't run if you use a Data File Password ... because the data file has to be open to download those transactions.

That is what I do each time I open Quicken for Mac but thought there was a way for it to do it automatically as this is time consuming. Why can't Quicken for Mac be as powerful as for Windows?0
