Budget Report

I don't like seeing parent categories in line with the subcategories on the budget report (bars). Is there a way to change the look of this or not show the parent category? For example Food / Groceries / Eating Out - All I want to see in the budget bars is Groceries and Eating Out. Seeing Food makes it confusing and more difficult to read (don't like the consolidation).

Unfortunately, Budgets in Quicken for Mac does not currently have the ability to display subcategories while excluding its main category.

If this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, then what you can do is create an idea post and add your vote. Our development team frequently uses our idea posts in order to improve Quicken and implement new features requested by customers. This way other users who have the same or a similar request can vote on your idea.
