Now that many USAA users have had their mutual funds moved to Victory Capital Management will there be a way to track their investments in Quicken

Victory Capital Management does not appear, currently, to be a "Participating Financial Institution".Only Victory can make the decision (and sign the contract) to become one.I'd ask both USAA and Victory what the status of this is.Q can't force Victory to become a PFI.

Stan - I contacted Victory Capitol about the very same thing and here's their response - in my opinion, they're useless and we were dealt a bad hand from USAA going to Victory Capitol.
My suggestion is to call VC and complain like I did. The more complaints, maybe they'll listen and do this.

Thank you for contacting USAA Mutual Funds by Victory Capital. USAA transferred the accounts to Victory Capital in July 2019 and provided online services for the mutual fund accounts until the transition to our platform in November. In May 2020, they transferred their brokerage accounts to Schwab and made the business decision to no longer keep their relationship with Quicken for the remaining mutual fund accounts being managed on usaa.com. As mentioned, we will review and analyze the desire for quicken and the options they provide for connectivity, but we do not have an ETA on when that decision will be made. If you need additional information or if we can be of any service, please contact us on vcm.com or at 1-800-235-8396. A. Brewster USAA Mutual Funds by Victory Capital

I had a couple USAA accounts transferred to Victory capital. I called and verified Victory Capital is not a Quicken PFI. All I got was "it was being investigated." If Victory Capital doesn't become a Quicken PFI in next few months I will likely move both accounts to Schwab who interestingly got transferred my other USAA accounts. I wish all my accounts had transferred to Schwab.0

SO, transfer your accounts to another broker/fund-company. Fidelity and Vanguard are both "Participating Financial Institutions".AND be sure to tell Victory WHY your leaving.Q is more important to me than ANY particular bank/brokerage/card/etc. I've switched several times (over the last 20+ years) over this and similar issues. In other words ... "VOTE WITH YOUR FEET"!

Before initiating a transfer check with both Victory and the receiving FI as to how the transfer will be accomplished. More than once I've seen a request for a nontaxable "transfer" turn into a taxable sale. Make sure that what's moved is shares, not cash.0

I think I'm going to transfer out of Victory Capital to someone else like Fidelity or Vanguard. This is pathetic in this day and age. You would think that a company as big as Victory Capital would have a relationship with Quicken.0

Victory Capital just informed me they planned to offer Quicken services in 4-6 weeks. Sent a secure message and received the following response:
" We are in the process of offering Quicken services to our members and hope to have the completed within the next 4-6 weeks."1 -
Victory Capital now shows up in Quicken, however, when I attempt to login when adding the account it never works. Anyone lucky enough to get this working?0

I had the same problem this morning (Feb 22, 2021) when trying to add my Victory Capital accounts into Quicken. Quicken just spins a circle and eventually crashes.0

Hello @alacroix
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to report this issue. First, please navigate to Help > About Quicken and provide the release that you are currently running.
To test if the issue is isolated to the data file or the program, I would create a test file and validate the test file to see if you experience the crashing.
A new file can be created by navigating to File > New Quicken File.
If you still experience a crash, I would follow the steps above regarding restoring a backup prior to this issue occurring.
If you experience crashing in the test file I would then Uninstall and Reinstall.
Let us know how it goes!

I am using what Quicken says is the latest version - R 31.12. While I appreciate the detail you have given in regard to creating test files and such, I have neither the time nor the savvy to go through all of those steps. I attempted again today (Feb 23, 2021) to add a Victory Capital account into Quicken and once again the software crashed. This was after I successfully performed a One-Step update for my other Quicken accounts. The crash only occurs when attempting to add a Victory Capital account.0

I am using R 31.12 also and am unable to add Victory Capital. I select add new account, type in Victory Capital, select the institution, enter my credentials, and select connect. It spins for a moment saying it is looking for my account and then says "Sorry. We encountered an error. (It's not your fault.)" Try as many times as I like the same thing happens.
I attempted this in a test file as well and the same thing happens.
All my other accounts work perfectly fine and I was even able to add a Schwab account just prior to attempting this one.
This is a problem just with Victory Capital.2 -
Hello @itchyfish, @alacroix, & @SFlorance
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues connecting with Victory Capital and thank you for taking the time to report this issue to the community.
I reviewed our master list of supported financial institutions, which includes the account types and connection methods supported by each institution and see that Victory Capital has been added to the list, however, currently they appear to only support banking (checking, savings) and credit card accounts through the Express Web Connect method.
I also took the liberty of attempting to add an account with Victory Capital in my personal data file using fake login credentials.
Instead of receiving an invalid login error as I should have, I instead also received the "Sorry. We encountered an error" message, which led me to review my log files that detail the internal communications between Quicken and the financial institution where I found this internal error:
This error indicates an error in the aggregator script that will need to be reviewed and corrected through an escalation to our service partners.
If you haven't already please contact Quicken Support to provide your log files and open an escalation.
I hope this information is helpful and please let us know how it goes with support.
Thank you,
Sarah

Good afternoon. I've been following this thread for a while to see if/when I can track my Victory Capital investments in Quicken...I, too, had my USAA investments transferred last year. Any updates on this? Thank you!0

I got this message on 2/18/21. It doesn't sound like they are planning on doing it anytime soon. Time to go to another company that does interface with Quicken.
Thank you for contacting USAA Mutual Funds presented by Victory Capital. The ability to download your account information into Quicken is not currently available on vcm.com; however, it may be added as a future enhancement. We will be completing a review to determine the type of interest we have received to offer Quicken for the accounts. Once this review has been completed and analyzed we will then determine if Quicken will be offered. Unfortunately, I do not have a timeframe to provide as to when this will occur.
If you have further questions, feel free to reply or reach us at 1-800-235-8396. Our representatives are available by phone from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.
