How do I reopen a closed account? (Q Mac)

I am trying to reopen a checking account that I had closed.

In QMac, you can re-open an account as follows:
- In the sidebar, click the > symbol next to Hidden to expand the list of hidden accounts.
- Select the closed account you with to open.
- Click menu Accounts > Settings.
- In the Account Settings pane, click the Display Options tab
- Click the Reopen Account button

In addition/alternative to the way @RickO mentioned, you can go to the Accounts menu and select Hide & Show Accounts… This will show all your accounts, open and closed, and closed accounts can be re-opened with a simply click on the Reopen button.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19931

You can't reopen it. That's why the program seeks confirmation that you indeed want it closed.What you CAN do, however, is to create another account in Q for this checking account ... and then copy over all of the transactions from the old account to the new.Q user since DOS version 5

I suggest that you restore a backup file dated before you closed the account.
