ANY data corruption can blow up ANY report. Why does that surprise you?And there's no way that data corruption constitutes a bug. A bug is software ... not data.

@NotACPA
I understand about data corruption, but I think you're not understanding what I did. I found that deleting ONE entry made the issue go away, and re-entering that same transaction manually made the issue reoccur. And the file has been verified and repaired multiple times. How can that be corrupt data? Is there some random combination of keystrokes that the software can't handle? And is that random combination of keystrokes causing the problem for multiple users. It would be really nice if someone actually had a fix.
I don't think that continuing to say "data corruption" is helping anyone. If you can't help, please don't post that here anymore.-1 -
You previously stated that you read earlier messages re: the $92Quadrillion error.Did you read, and follow the advice of this one? https://community.quicken.com/discussion/comment/20037702#Comment_20037702

Thank you.
I did not see that one, but this link: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/comment/17354930/#Comment_17354930 in that thread didn't work. Told me I didn't have permission to view it.
Breaking up the buy transaction into multiple ones is something I need to try, but that still begs the question as to why the software can't handle a simple transaction.
Also, frankly, this forum's search function doesn't work that well. So thanks for finding that for me.
[on edit] Pretty hard to break up a 1 share transaction, though.0
