When I update accounts...my memorized list gets all screwed up. Some categories are missing and some memorized items are duplicated. How can i stop these glitzes?

    Are you syncing to Mobile/Web?

If so my guess on how to stop it would be to stop that syncing.

I had tried that...I stopped syncing ALL accounts but that didn't work. Have any other suggestions?

    Hello @TLN

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. I'm wondering if it might be a mix of the mobile sync and also it being messed up for a while. I would recommend first trying to reload a backup where the memorized payee list loads correctly. From there we can turn off the mobile sync which ideally won't give us any issues anymore. I'll leave steps down below.

    https://www.quicken.com/support/how-backup-or-restore-your-quicken-data

When loading a backup I would recommend making a new copy rather than overwriting your existing one as well.

Once ones been found where your list is working correctly go ahead and go across the top to edit > preferences > mobile & web > sync off.

Once you've had a chance to try this let us know how it goes! If you're still having issues we'll take another look.

    Thanks,

    Quicken Francisco

I have tried your suggestion numerous times in the past...including resetting the memorized payee list after "super" validating...removing the cloud syncing for all accounts...but nothing seems to help. Every time I upgrade my accounts or reset an account the same thing happens. It seems that the most common problem is losing the "Transfers" category for banking and credit card account?????

    Hello @TLN

Thank you for the response and the additional details, although I apologize that the trouble continues to persist.

One thing that may cause this behavior is the location of the data file. Do you store the active data file in a cloud or network drive?

The more information you can provide regarding this issue will help the Community to better understand and assist.

    Thank you,

I have taken off any reference ( ✔) to saving to the cloud. However...Quicken seems to allows say "...sync to new cloud services"...I try not to let that happen. Therefore...I think all my data is saved on a network (hard drive) file...maybe not but I can't seem to stop "...sync to new cloud services". So no matter what I do...I always lose "transfers" category for banking/credit card account...no matter how may times I put them back in?????

If you are using Express Web Connect for any of your accounts, and it is using the new QCS connection method that they are going to, then you will get that message because your transactions are being synced.  It shouldn't sync your Memorized Payee List though.
    See this about QCS:
