Can the Download Quotes option be turned off, by defualt, for when secuities are added?

The trick is to add the security manually without providing the symbol.  After the security is created, you may add the symbol, and if you still do not want the price quotes to download, uncheck the Download Quotes box for the security in the Security List window.

If I may ask, why would you want to turn off the initial quote download?
