Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
I believe the report you are looking for is
Income and Expense by Category
(
or
by Payee
). These reports can be found by navigating to the
Planning
tab
> Budgets > Reports
(
on the top-right
)
> Income and Expense by Category
(
or
by Payee
) as shown below.

For a comparison of income and spending to your budget, try Reports > Spending > Current Budget. The report is broken down by month, but you can select Year to Date and see that in the rightmost columns.
