Transaction report with complete data for each line?

Greetings. I was wondering if there is any way to download transactions to analyze in Excel so that transactions with multiple categories are not missing the date, payee, etc. All I can seem to find so far are transaction logs that I would have to manually fill in this information if I wanted to do any sorting and creating my own reports. This would take way too much time. Thanks!!

The issue here I think is that when there are split transactions and you export to Excel, the transaction details are only on the first line. See this Idea post for workarounds and to vote for improvements in this area.

I don't understand how a transaction can be missing a date, but it's fairly simple to locate missing fields within Quicken. If you're specifically looking to export Downloaded fields to Excel, that isn't supported. I suggest you vote for: Include Downloaded Payee in report/export

Thanks @Sherlock, I think sorting by Category was the approach described in the first link in the Idea post, which is now lost.QWin Premier subscription1

Thanks Jim. So this is something that others have mentioned and Quicken may or may not provide this kind of download. Oh well. I think it would be nice, but I can live without it I guess. Thanks!!0
