Add the ability to adjust the account sidebar font size in Quicken for MAC.
useless unable to read sidebab
For those of us with eyesight issues, it would be most helpful to be able to increase the font size in the sidebar, as well as the toolbar. I have to get right up on my screen in order to see accounts/balances.
Yes! Increase font size in Windows, too:) Not sure I can prep my taxes without larger font:(
I need this too!…….For those of us with eyesight issues, it would be most helpful to be able to increase the font size in the sidebar, as well as the toolbar. I have to get right up on my screen in order to see accounts/balances.
Please let me know if there is a work-around or has this issue been addressed, and if fixed, where is the setting?
@NewMac2017 This thread is a request to the developers to add new functionality, so it has not yet been addressed. The Idea has received 22 votes so far over 3 years, so it hasn't yet been officially forwarded to the developers for their consideration for implementation. (It's always possible it's on their radar independent of this Idea request.) If/when this thread reaches 30 votes, it will then be sent to the developers for assessment; if they agree it's a desirable feature, once they can find time to slot it into their development calendar, this thread would be marked as "Planned".
Please add my vote for increasing the font size of the side bar.
@dennismd Please make sure you have added your vote in the yellow box at the top of this page; just adding a comment saying "add my vote" does not, in fact, add your vote. 😉 This topic needs a few more votes before it is forwarded to the developers for consideration.
Done.
Hello All,
The status of this Idea has been changed to Under Consideration as it has reached enough votes and has been submitted to our Product and Development team for further review.
Thank you!

Thanks, hopefully this is added to the Mac version as well - seems like a crazy oversight that the register font size is adjustable, but the sidebar font is incredibly tiny on a 13" Macbook.
It's unbelievable that this hasn't been fixed yet. It's been months since the last complaint.
@TWRAZ There are a couple hundred feature requests on this forum for Quicken Mac. And a very small development team for Quicken Mac. They typically allocate most of their time to adding features which don't exist in the program, and less time on making usability improvements to features which already exist. That's not to say this won't get done; it's a matter of allocating their limited resources among all the different requests.
I also would like the folks at Quicken to add accessibility font settings to allow us to increase the Sidebar font. Like so many others here the ol’ eyes are not what they used to be. It’s past time to accommodate the needs of those who need this option.

I would also like to have Quicken to increase the font size in the sidebar. Not big enough. I'm on a MAC and it's really too tiny. Hopefully, this will be something they will work on.
Quicken. Long time user here. I've used the desktop versions since they came out in since about 1990, upgrading every new version. Today, I started using the online version and the conversion went smoothly. HOWEVER, I need the ability to increase font size of the sidebar. Vision problems here, and it's difficult to see tiny light colored account names. Please make this change.
Thanks
Is this "Under Considation"? It doesn't seem to be a dificult one?
@apisani It is “Under Consideration”, which means it has achieved the critical mass of votes to be forwarded to the developers to evaluate what implementation would entail. They haven’t yet marked it “Planned”, which could mean the haven’t decided whether it is something they plan to do or that they haven’t identified when to fit this into their product development roadmap. Or it could be that they don’t want to do this until they tackle other request to allow customization of the sidebar.
As for whether it is difficult implement or not, it’s almost impossible for us to judge, as some things which seem simple are not and some things which seem complex are not.
Bottom line: we unfortunately get no feedback about when or if they is in their plans.
