Has Quicken changed Quotes Servers on us (2007 Mac users) again?
209.234.225.183 qw2007.quicken.com
Sadly, the latest set of quotes I've been able to pull down are from October 15th, 2021.
Nothing since.
Quicken central says the "problem" was resolved this morning, two or so hours ago.
Ain't so.
"Update Security Prices" triggers the usual Connection & Downloading sequence,
but no updates are made for today, despite what it says.
In fact, if you "View Latest Prices" you see the time/date stamp is "10/15/21"
Anyone got a new workaround?

See the latest "update" on lack of updates here, where the false claim is made that the problem has been resolved:

For the first time since last Friday, I’m finally able to download intra-day prices for all my stocks. Quicken may have resolved their quotes server problem yesterday morning for Windows & Modern Quicken users, but as recently as last night, I was only able to get closing prices for about ⅔ of my holdings. Even then, the hi, low, & volume for some of Friday’s quotes kept changing from the correct numbers to just hyphens.
Back in the spring, after the old quotes server went away, I forgot to ask @Taz Xen how he found the alternate “qw.quicken.com” URL and the IP it resolves to. I’ve saved the instructions for updating the hosts file, but I don’t know how to find another alternate quotes server if this one goes away, or if it stops working for Q7M users. I haven’t had any luck with “Whois” searches. Any suggestions?

Confirmed that quotes server downloads are working again today — intraday — miraculously :-)0

That link only shows that once he figured out another subdomain, how to have a lookup to qw2007.quicken.com redirect to that new subdomain. What it does not explain is how to know or figure out what other subdomain to look for. I suspect it was just an educated guess by removing the 2007 reference in the url to see if it yields anything. And it worked. BUT what if that changes in the future? How to figure it out?
