If I don't use the mobile app, can I just disable sync or does that cause other problems?0

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
Yes, if you do not use the Quicken Mobile app, then you can go ahead and disable sync without issues.
You can disable sync by navigating to Quicken > Preferences > Mobile, Sync & Alerts > Click the toggle button to turn sync OFF.
