In 2022, I started a new quicken file. I downloaded all transactions I wanted starting on 1/1/22

I got everything working properly, but since have decided to go back and download all 12/2021 to make everything work a little better. However, none of the acct I have will allow me to do this. What can I do to get the info in on all these other accts. I have also tried copying dec 21 data., exporting, importing directly, and whatever else I could think of. the help file doesn't seem to help much. Would starting a new file beginning on 12/1/2021 be the easiest solution to this problem? jim

Why didn't you just continue in your existing file?   I would start with your old file (maybe save it with a new name) and download the 2022 transactions to it.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

If you haven't already, you may want to review: FAQ: Download Old Transactions

Note: You should be able to export and import QIF files with the account transactions from the old Quicken file.  If you haven't already, you may want to review:

I've never understood this action - why would you delete all your old financial history?
As suggested above, just go back to your old QDF file,
or Restore a Quicken backup (hopefully you have Quicken backups),
and then just re-download your 2022 data.... and go from there -

The reason you can't reimport the transactions is because Quicken records the unique Ids for every transaction it imports into the account, and if it sees a transaction with the same unique Id, it skips it to avoid duplicate transactions..

It's a bug. This started happening with the most recent update 1/2022.

There needs to be a way to reset this.
