I did not think to check before buying. Quicken hasn't been able to connect to BMO since I installed it and it is an known and ongoing, outstanding issue. Which banks are compatible? Thanks in advance!

Hello @MacleanBP,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. We apologize you are having this issue. To clarify, the available banks in Quicken depend also on the connection type. Is there a specific bank you were wanting to connect to? If so I can check and let you know.-Quicken Paloma0 -

Here is link to a file that has all the Canadian financial institution information:

I don't believe there is any Canadian financial institution's using Direct Connect, so it is either Express Web Connect (and not too many of them) or Web Connect.
Direct Connect uses the OFX protocol and is the most reliable. Express Web Connect is where they use an "aggregator (Intuit)" to try to log into the financial institution and get the transactions.
Web Connect is going to the financial institution and downloading/importing a Web Connect (.QFX) file.
You will see WEB-CONNECT and EXP-WEB-CONNECT for telling what they support.Signature:
