How do you change account types?

I'm still recovering from January's update-blunder... got a savings account that now Quicken is calling a loan, and now I can't see any of the transactions even if I go to the original transaction and select 'Go to matching transfer'.
How do I switch it back?

If you can't see the transactions (no transaction register) in a loan (correct, or not) type account ... that means that the account is set to download transactions.SO, the first thing that you'll need to do is to disconnect the account from download. After that, you probably can't change the type ... but you'll be able to set up an account that's correctly identified as savings ... and move all transaction from erroneous account to the new account.

See if this works. Note create an offline savings account instead of a loan account since that is what you really want.

In that case about the only thing I think that can be done is restore back to a point before the problem started.Signature:
