PNC Bank OL-393-A

For the third day, I cannot submit or download transactions to my PNC bank account. Investment accounts continue to work fine. PNC cannot find anything but will "open a case" if the problem persists for a few days. I see other banks with this code. Has a PNC customer experienced this problem?

Hello @Number11,
Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community, though I apologize that you are experiencing this error.
I have located a Support Article that discusses some troubleshooting steps to take when presented with an OL-393-A error. You may follow this link to access that FAQ. Please keep in mind that it is recommended to save a backup before proceeding with troubleshooting steps in the event that you would like to return to your original starting position.
I hope this helps!-Quicken Jasmine

I tried all the suggested actions. Didn't work. After 25 years of using Quicken, I will be cancelling my substription if this is not resolved in a week. I remember printing the checks on my dot matrix printer before Bill Pay. I finally resolved to using PNC's own bill pay service because the stores will undoubtedly charge interest for late payments. With all the digital logs available to Quicken and PNC, this problem could probably be resolved in a few hours. Given the number of OL393 complaints from multiple banks, there is probably a common cause.1

They said everything looks good on their end. They can see where Quicken contacts their system but then it goes no further. In the old days, I would guess that somebody's system times out before the "handshake" completes.0

Note: We're not having any issues with PNC Bank or any other financial institutions using the Direct Connect connection method.0 -
I finally resolved the problem with a complete reset of the online accounts. PNC has a Quicken direct connect helpdesk and they fixed the problem0
