QuickPay says I need to schedule 7/14 bill before 6/30?

I'm on Quicken for Mac, relatively new. I set up a credit card biller for billpay. I see the bill. It shows due 7/14 (correct) and correct amount. When I try to schedule the payment for 7/14, I get an error message saying that the pay date needs to be prior to 6/30. Any clue what is going on?
