Chase Bank's New Connection Method

Chase Banks new connection method is a complete and utter disaster.
First of all you have to disable all of your Chase accounts otherwise there added as new in Quicken. The option to reset the account is not available. I tried this method and it downloaded a bunch of transactions and all of my account balances were incorrect.
I then restored my backup and tried a different method. I added them as new in Quicken and tried to copy and paste my existing transactions into the added accounts. This didn't work either.
Until Chase Bank and Quicken can fix this issue I'm going to download my transaction via the bank website.

This type of thing has happened in the past, and I have spent countless hours fixing. I hope Quicken can at least tell us if we can merge the new account with the old???0

Quicken came out with an update which allows you to link your accounts. However, when you link the accounts it downloads a bunch of transactions and changes your account balances. For example my checking account balance went from $568 and change to $3485 and change.0

I found a Quicken bug after the new connection method. The balance on 2 accounts (one checking and one credit card) were incorrect. After doing some research found the problem. It had changed the opening balance in the accounts by the amount of my latest transaction. See attached screenshot. YMMV.1
