How do you change the Web transaction download method from Automatic with the "blue dot" to Manual acceptance? I have manual acceptance on the desktop version, but I see no setting to change the web transaction download method from Automatic to Manual.

Thank you Anja. But, on the web when you go to "Show/Hide Columns" and then "About Reviewed" it says you can manually enter transactions but it doesn't say how to do it. See screenshot below. Is there a setting we are missing?

  • Thank you for following up.

What that is referring to is the Reviewed/Not Reviewed status on transactions in the Quicken on the Web app. This is different from Accepting transactions before adding them to the register.

Below is a screenshot from transactions in Quicken on the Web to show you the difference.

The blue dot indicates "Not Reviewed" whereas as the empty white circle indicates "Reviewed". This status can be changed by simply clicking directly on the blue dot/empty white circle.

I hope this clears up some confusion! Thank you.

Thanks, but click on "About Reviewed" and you will see the screen shot I provided. That screenshot indicates manual entry is available. I just want to make sure we are not missing something and manual entry is in fact available?
  • To clarify; the register screenshots you provided are what Quicken for Windows desktop registers look like.

The Quicken on the Web registers do not look like that. However, Manual entry is available in Quicken on the Web by clicking the "+"-sign located in the upper right. Below is a screenshot of what a Quicken on the Web register looks like (with sensitive info redacted) with the plus sign circled in red.

    Hope this helps!
