Chase Bank Bill Pay [Edited]

Latest problem: I can download transactions, but not pay bills!
In the online payees menu all payees appear, but "use" is greyed out - cannot make any payments
I have logged in and bill pay is authorized
In the Chase account Quicken is listed as linked
Message comes up to verify deposits - but the two deposits have not appeared
I can use the Chase bank app and all my payees appear and work fine
Is the idea to get people off of Quicken so they just use the bank app? If so it's working so far!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
Chase has dropped Direct Connect and migrated over to Express Web Connect+ (EWC+). Once migrated, all Direct Connect features, including Direct Connect Bill Pay will no longer be available. The Online Payee list was part of Direct Connect Bill Pay.
If you wish to continue paying bills through Quicken, you can do so through Quicken Bill Manager services by setting up Quick Pay and Check Pay. For more information and instructions on Quick Pay and Check Pay, please refer to the support articles found here and here.
