Another New Pentagon Federal Issue

I initially got onto the PenFed site about four days ago. The next day, I decided to start from scratch with a new data file. When I provided my credentials for PenFed, I received, "Did you mistype your credentials." Today, that went away, but now I have the following Sync Error after a long wait to connect:
--------- Start of quote ----------
Sync Error
Warning
Quicken encountered an error while communicating with our servers. Try again later. If the error persists, contact Quicken Support.

AGGREGATION_IN_PROGRESS (REMOTE-UPDATE-IN-PROGRESS)
--------- End of quote ----------

I have received this error throughout the day, each time it was preceded by an extended period of time trying to connect. This sounds like it is different from the other error codes reported.

    Hello @Jim M.,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us bout your issue, though I apologize that you are experiencing this.

If you don't mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error you described above? If needed, please take a moment to review this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    Thank you!

    Hi Anja,
Unfortunately, the error did not show back up. Instead, I am back to the "Did you mistype..." display. However, the verbiage stated above between the quote lines is exactly what it said, verbatim. If it shows up again, I will post it to you. In the meantime, here is what I am getting now.

    Take care,
    Jim

    Hi Anja,
BTW, I am using the Mac version of Quicken. I didn't realize I was posting under the Windows section, so I re-posted in a more appropriate area, but it was deleted as a duplicate. Would you please move this thread to a more appropriate area? Thanks.

Thank you for letting me know.

I went ahead and moved the post to Mac.

While you haven't received the original error you described again, the error message indicating invalid credentials is usually shown as an FDP-103 error within the logs. In which case, this would be a known issue that has been escalated internally already, though we do not have an ETA on resolution. However, while the investigation remains ongoing, please refer to this Community Alert for any and all available updates.

We apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime! Thank you.

    Hi Anja,

FYI, I did not receive any error codes. The only thing that was in the window was what I posted in the quote above. I was surprised there was no error code when it came up because everyone else seems to be receiving actual error code numbers. If it comes up again, I will be sure to take a screen shot and forward it to you.

    Take care,
    Jim

I, as well, continue to have PenFed connection errors. I can’t count how many times this occurs with Quicken. Frustrating to say the least.

I can't tell you how many times my connection with PenFed don't work with Quicken regardless of connection type. Figure this out Quicken! Please!

Similar to other comments, I just tried to log into my multiple checking, savings and certificate accounts at Pentagon Federal Credit Union. All ceased to download around 20 Oct. Attached is screen shot:

I'm up for renewal, but there is no way I'll renew until the issue is fixed. I have too many transactions being held up from download because of this. Any idea how much longer it will be before this issue is resolved? It has already been a very long time - way longer than it should have taken.
  • I have been unable to down load any transactions from Pentagon Federal since October 11, 2022 I have chatted with two support advisors and was told that PEN Fed is blocking us. It was supposed to be resolved by October 27 , But still not resolved. This is very poor customer service and needs to be resolved immediately

I just received a second update from Quicken since this error was reported, but the errors continue to exist. Any update on a fix?

I too haven't been able to download my transactions from PenFed since around the 1st of October. They keep telling they are working on the problem, but yet the problem is not resolved. I would like to know is the problem a computer technical problem or is it a payment/contract issue between the two parties. I think it's the latter. Because technical problems are usually resolved very rapidly. Please put in some overtime to resolve this issue. Thank you.

New Error. Text quoted below and screen shot attached. Please update us on what the status is. It should have been fixed long ago.

Another new error code I came across: FDP-102. As the attached file shows, the error states:

"The Pentagon Federal Credit Union website may be down

Session has ended. Please try again later.
Please verify that you can connect to your bank and navigate until you can see your most recent
    transactions.

    [button: Visit your bank]

    AGGREGATOR_IN_ERROR (FI_TIMEOUT:FDP-102)"

PenFed website is not down and I could access all of my accounts and see all of my transactions when I log directly onto the PenFed website. So far, I have received the following errors (some multiple times) in the last 45 days:

    1. "Did you mistype..."
    2. CC-929
    3. FDP-106
    4. FDP-105
    5. FDP-102

Also, getting errors for Cenlar now: time out; FDP-155

Other than the somewhat canned message that Quicken is still working on the issue, is any progress actually being made? I'm up for renewal this month and it seems rather pointless if I have to manually enter all of my transactions anyway. [Removed - Speculation/Inaccurate]

    Take care,
    Jim

Can we get an extension to our current subscription for the length of time we are unable to access our accounts? This has been ongoing for months now and renewal is later this month. I don't want to renew until everything is working as it is supposed to. Please extend our subscriptions until this is resolved.

Tried to access Pentagon Federal Credit Union after the latest update — and it works! Glad that issue was finally resolved.
