Recently, I updated to Quicken 6.10 and MacOS Ventura 13.0. Since then, I have not been able to connect to my Fundrise accounts, which were available before.

I contacted Fundrise and they said they changed their authentication method, which means that Quicken needs to change their connection method to match. But for now, none of us can connect to Fundrise.

Those instructions posted above say that the financial institution (Fundrise) needs to contact Quicken and let them know about the change. When I contacted Fundrise, they were unaware that it was even possible to connect to Fundrise via Quicken, so apparently Quicken took the initiative to provide a connection to Fundrise, so I think Quicken needs to just take a second look at the connection method and find out what changed.

    Hello @gschlender

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.

Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. Are you receiving any error codes or messages? What is the connection method with your Fundrise accounts? You can see the connection method by navigating to Settings > Downloads > Connection Type. Are you experiencing issues with downloading transactions or connecting your accounts for online banking?

I look forward to your response.

I deleted my prior setting and started over. After inputting my e-mail and password for the Fundrise website, I get the attached screenshot. It won't even let me set up a connection type. I can sign on to my Fundrise account on the web with no problem.

    Hello @gschlender,

Thank you for providing more information and sharing the screenshot.

First, I suggest creating a test file and attempting to add the Fundrise account(s) to see if the same error occurs. You can create a test file by navigating to File > New > Start from Scratch. It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding (just in case).

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for the suggestion, Jasmine. I did as you suggested, opened a new file, and attempted to add my Fundrise account. No luck. See the attached screenshot. As I reported before, I had functioning Fundrise accounts before I upgraded to Quicken for Mac 6.10 and upgraded MacOS to Ventura 13.0. Not sure which upgrade caused the failure.

How to refresh financial institution information (Branding)

    Have you tried this yet?

If your bank recently changed their website or password requirements please read and follow instructions here:

For online billers please see if you can manage (remove and re-add or repair) the online biller, to see if their profile has already been updated.

If that doesn't resolve the issue:

    • It is the bank's or biller's contractual obligation to notify their Quicken download service provider, Intuit, of any changes to their websites and download functions in a timely manner before the change is implemented. Intuit needs a sufficient amount of lead time to review, change and test their programs, to adapt to the changes the bank makes.
    • The bank also needs to notify their customers of this change in a timely fashion and detail any actions that might be required by the customer to regain access after the change was introduced.
    • If they didn't do that, complain to your bank's or biller's office of the president.
    • Also contact Quicken Support via Chat or Phone at https://www.quicken.com/support#contact-support  during posted hours of operation and report this as an Online Banking issue, so that Quicken Support can escalate this issue to Intuit Inc.  Ultimately, however, the bank or biller must work together with Intuit on solving this update issue.

Please let us know if you were able to get this issue resolved (or not).

Fundrise is listed as an institution to which Quicken can connect. But I'm still not able to connect, even though the connection used to work. What gives, Quicken?
