why am I getting cc-501 error when trying to reactivate bank account?

Using latest quicken version on windows 11. Liberty Bank CT stopped downloading tranasctions approx one week ago giving me cc-501 error. Tried de-activating then re-activating account but no success. Bank of America accounts work fine without issues. This is an HSA checking account. Was using web express connection since direct connection not available anymore. Anyone having this issue with this bank?

Similar problem. Same bank, same error code. Been going on for days. Msg says it's a quicken problem, not a Liberty issue. Try again in a few hours. Been trying for days…..about time for quicken to address it!

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
If you don’t mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message you described receiving? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
I look forward to your responses.

Hi Jasmine:
This link does not help us. Obviously quicken would need to be contacted to possibly resolve the problem. I noted and commented others are having similar issues with other banks. Supposedly quicken is aware of this and looking into it? Jasmine, can you be kind enough to confirm this and provide any updates. As I mentioned to you earlier, I am having no issues with downloading transactions from BOA. And our issue with Liberty Bank just started about one week ago. So doubtful problem with just quicken. Most likely communication issue with bank interacting with quicken or quicken interacting with bank. This needs to be escalated and resolved by quicken and the banks.0 -
Jasmine - here's screenshot. Pls don't refer me to an article. I've already tried everything suggested in various articles. Nothing works!0

Hi Bendo: Just for haha's I just called Liberty Bank and explained our situation. They said when setting up the account or re-activating the account use the "Liberty Bank - CT" name not the Liberty Bank Cash Management name as the institution. The cash management name is for business customers only. So guess what, I tried that and it worked! Let me know if you are successful doing what I just did.

Thx Steven! That ultimately resolved it. Shame on Liberty for not making that clear in their changeover. I also ran into not being able to change the financial institution name - it was protected. I was online chatting with Quicken support when I saw your msg. The workaround to update the financial institution is to add a new acct, select Liberty bank - ct, then link back to the orginal acct in quicken. Thanks for your info. Hope it helps other users that might hit the same issue.0

Steven - BTW - I also called Liberty customer support earlier today & they were useless.0
