Similar Problem: Had one rental property with good category table. How do I copy to create a new table for a new property?

    Hello @handloffgene1,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. If I'm understanding correctly, you're wanting to essentially copy the existing good category table, and edit the copy to apply to the new property? There isn't a direct way to do that in Quicken, but there is a work around others on the Community have used. This discussion provides the steps to do it.

    Thank you.

For ,ultiple remtal properties, you should use one set of catagories.

You differentiate between properties using the Tag feature.

Create a uniwue Tag for each property.

Assign the appropriate Tag ro each rental property transactiom in the registers.

Inyour case, you should go back and tag all transactioms for the original property.
