Quicken update R48.18

This keeps popping up in Quicken. Waited several days to post this as this revision is not seen on the Quicken Mondo site BUT R49.22 is shown for April. My guess is that R48.18 is a HF…..

Why, after multiple days with this pop-up is it not listed on the Mondo Site?

Does R49.22 include the R48.18 update too?

Is R49.22 released to the public or just to a few (which I call Beta Testers)?

@retird - R48.18 is a hot fix and it was released after R49.22 became available on a limited basis as a staged release. That is an unusual version progression and which also raised the question in my mind about whether or not the R48.18 hot fix is also included in R49.22 as it should be or if the protocol was not properly followed.

I just got off a Zoom call with the Quicken development team (regarding something else) and asked them about this. They said there was some internal issue in getting the R48.18 HF released earlier than the R49.22 staged release but they assured me that R49.22 does include the R48.18 HF update.

R49.22 is now the released Mondo Patch on Quicken.com: https://www.quicken.com/support/update-and-patch-20182019-release-quicken-windows-subscription-product . I think it is safe to say that we will not ever see R48.18 as the released Mondo Patch because that would represent a version reversal. When R49.22 is changed from staged release to general release it will then show up in Quicken in the OSU Summary Report and in Help > Check for Updates. But until then, Quicken will show R48.18 as the current general release version.

If you wish to update to R48.18 you should be able to do that by using the link at the top of the OSU Summary Report. It worked for me. (Updating via Help > Check for Updates returned an "Unknown error" message. The Quicken engineers saw that happen and went "Hmmmm….." 🤔.)

Or you can skip updating to R48.18 and instead download and install the R49.22 Mondo Patch via the link I posted above. Or you can just sit back and wait a while to observe what others are saying about both of them.

    Quicken's releases are always cumulative.

R49.22 is now in "staged" release, being pushed to a limited number of users and available on the Mondo site. The official announcement is here

I am currently running it without significant issues. The auto-sizing of report columns works, but not exactly as described in the Release Notes. See this discussion
