Projected balance graph scaling issue

Under Bills and Income::Projected Balances. The vertical ($) axis appears to be auto scaled by the larger of "comparison plot" (of last period?) and selected period (e.g. 60 days). Even with "comparison plot" turned off, the same scaling remains. If previous period has large min/max, the current period plot looks compressed. Seems to me the scaling should always be adjusted according to what is being displayed, and not include what is hidden.

Does anyone know what the comparison plot is? What is it comparing? Doesn't seem like a very useful feature. Only seems to mess up the scaling.

    Hello @Eric,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. In Quicken for Mac, that aspect of the scaling is automatic and there currently isn't a way for users to override/customize it. You are not the only one who would like to see that change. I'd recommend adding your vote and a comment to this Idea Post. Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in a future release.

For information on the Comparison Plot, you can review this earlier post on the Community discussing it.

    Thank you.

this is clearly a bug, and not a feature. What’s the point of voting as Quicken appears to have no interest fixing it. It is really not becoming a good software product.
