Cut and Paste multiple transactions across data files

I've seen other forum posts on this topic, and the documentation makes it seem like you can select multiple transactions in a register, and then paste into a new data file. https://www.quicken.com/support/move-transactions-between-quicken-accounts
One transaction at a time works, however if you select 2 or more, the paste feature does not work when moving between data files.
Has anyone found a workaround to this?

Hello @Drew S,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. Generally, the simplest way to copy transactions from one data file to another is to export from one data file and import into the other file. This FAQ can help if the accounts you are wanting to copy information to/from are Investments, assets, or liabilities rather than standard banking accounts.
You can use this link to an earlier discussion on the topic if you would like more information.
I hope this helps!
