Online Bill Center Message: "Bill added. Waiting for latest update."
I've tried the steps provided by Quicken (step 2d says to "Update from billers" which does not exist). I've been trying for more than 2 years to get some of these bills in Quicken. The more I try, the worse it gets. I've tried numerous reboots, account validations, even started again from scratch. Strangely, the more I attempt to get all of my bills loaded, other bills that used to update without a problem are also suddenly unavailable. I suspect it is due to 2-factor authentication (or in the case of Verizon, double 2-factor authentication) being implemented by various banks/billers. Even Capital One - which at one point had a promotional agreement with Quicken, cannot be added.
"Bill added. Waiting for latest update" is a misnomer. You can wait for months and will never see an update.
Will Quicken address this and when?

Yup. I have about 40 accounts in QBM. 10 of them (25%) do not work properly. The rest, marginally work with a lot of prodding.

Hello @gambit.xmn and @Randy 415,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue.
If you don’t mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message you described receiving? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments. Please remember to redact any personal information as needed.

I have just become aware of the Bills feature in Quicken. I do not use Quicken Bill Pay, but the ability to forecast the checking account balance would be useful. I have a dozen or so bills that are paid online every month. I have five deposits that show up in the forecast, but that's useless without the bills.
I tried adding a few bills, but it doesn't seem to work. I get messages about waiting for update for billers, and it seems to think I want to use Billpay to pay them.
Is there an overview of how this feature should be set up and used? The online help isn't much help.0 -
This is just 2 of dozens of issues.

Hello @Randy 415
Thank you for providing those screenshots.
If you haven't already, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connected Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.
- Navigate to Edit
- Preferences...
- Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
- Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID)
- Follow the prompts to Sign Out
- Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password (this screen is not a pop-up box)
Keep in mind that the sign-in pop-up dialog may continuously keep popping back up throughout this process, in which case you will need to continue closing it each time it pops up until you reach the full sign-in screen.
I hope this helps!-Quicken Jasmine

Tried the refresh token. Also tried new data file. (Copy all to new file, reconnect services). Still same problem.
@UKR thank you for the information. Yes, I already had done that previous to switching over to QBM. Now that I have encountered many, many problems with QBM, I am systematically reporting them, and trying to fix them and eventually, switching back to the "old" way of doing things, when things cannot get resolved in a timely manner. Of course, my big issue with the "old" way, is that I never really know what the real bill total is, until it hits my account as a transaction (monthly variable bills such as utilities).
Long-term, I look forward to the QBM improvements. Short-term, QBM does not work. (Out of 40 bills, 4 work properly).

Look at the biller's websites. They all have an option to send you an email notification when a new bill becomes available.
