Best Buy Credit Card from CitiBank will No Longer Download

Options

Have had a Best Buy Visa for years. It has always downloaded transactions with no issues, through multiple card replacements. About a month ago is stopped downloading. It was always directed through citiretailservices.citibankonline.com and signed in without issue. I could also log in to the citibank website and view the account, as well as the Best Buy website. That has all stopped. the CitiBank website no longer recognizes me or the account and when calling I am directed to the Best Buy number for the card (888-574-1301). The people there are clueless and have no idea what Quicken even is… I tried opening a new account in Quicken to see if I could set it up to point to a different url as the Best Buy support people said it was bestbuy.account.online.com - which goes absolutely nowhere. When setting up the new account, and choosing that it is a best buy card in Quicken, it still points to citiretailservices.citibankonline.com which no longer works for the Best Buy cards… Everytime I try to do anything it says "Oops. There is a problem." CC-502

I am at a loss as to how to proceed.

"the CitiBank website no longer recognizes me or the account"

There's different versions of what look to be a "Best Buy Credit Card" in Quicken's fidir.txt file:

but if the Citi site isn't even allowing you to see that account when you log in, that's really the crux of the problem. I'm guessing the credit card account might have been shifted away from the one Citi site listed above to one of the bestbuy.com sites.

Call Best Buy again. Don't even mention Quicken to them, that'll only confuse them. Simply ask "how do I log into your web site and view my account online?" Once you can do that you should be able to re-connect the Quicken account properly.

The only info I've been able to get from the horrible Best Buy support is that the only way to access your credit card is on the bestbuy.com website now. That doesn't work for Quicken access.

If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and report this Online Banking issue. Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it. This needs to be escalated to higher levels of support so that Intuit Inc as the service provider and the banks can sort out this problem.
