Missing Quicken data (MAC) when downloading from Empower

Just curious as to the status of fixing a five year old ongoing issue when downloading transactions from Empower. I can access my account, I can see everything on their website. However after I DOWNLOAD THE QFX FILE, AND THEN import the date file, ALL the contributions and distributions are missing. This has been an ongoing problem for many years and I keep getting told this is being worked on but nothing ever happens.

    Hello @JL,

Are the contributions and distributions shown in the original QFX file? Do you receive any error codes or messages when importing?

    Thanks!

I am not sure if I understand your question. If you mean are contributions and distributions visible on Empowers website when viewing transactions, then yes. If you are asking whether once the period of time is chosen and the "QFX" icon is clicked and downloaded from Empower's website, are the contributions and distributions visible, I only see what is contained in the QFX data file once it is imported into Quicken (Mac). That is where I can tell the contributions and distributions are missing. I never receive any error code or messages that anything is amiss.

However since you asked, I have opened the QFX data file in TEXT, Google Chrome & Excel instead of Quicken. All three apps just show lines of code. See very small sample below.    There were no error codes or messages when importing. Hope this helps.

Is this the entire QFX file?

The reason I ask is because it is incomplete. There should be no way that Quicken would import that.

No. I just captured a very tiny portion of the QFX file to show what I was able to see. There are no contributions or distributions anywhere.
