Does anyone know if this problem (now more than a year old) has ever been fixed?

The last that I am aware of, it was still an ongoing problem and a "fix was underway" per @Quicken Anja as of this thread:

Is there any update? I have not been able to update my software, THAT I PAY FOR, for more than a year, now. I am very frustrated and appalled that this is not been addressed after all this time.

    I can't update this software without royally messing with our ability to create the invoices we need to for our various clients and vendors until this is fixed. Anyone have any information on this?
