Chase Credit Card transactions not downloading

I have two Chase credit cards. For each account, Quicken updates complete (in what appears to be a successful way) are report zero new transactions. But I can see that there are numerous transactions that should be coming down. I reset the accounts, but the problem persists. This just started yesterday (12/13/23).

    Hello @JetCity63,

We do currently have an active alert regarding missing transactions when downloading from Chase, this could be contributing to the issues that you are experiencing.

Have you attempted the troubleshooting steps located in the alert? It is recommended to save a backup before proceeding.

    Please let me know, thanks!

Hi, I have the same exact issue and it started on the exact same date. Support has not been able to help so far. I read every posting I could find and followed other things people have done. But none have worded so far. 1. I have reset my chase account online services. 2. Deactivated and reactivated online services. 3.Made a copy/template of my database which deletes all online services connections from all accounts. Then I tried to do it again and it failed. 4. I also logged out as a quicken user online in my data file, and then relogged in with normal ID, hoping to reset my user profile, but that did not work. 5. I decided to try a download in proper file format. That worked but will require me to do it MANUALLY any time I want to update my chase register. That would be not worthwhile and too cumbersome to do every week. 6. I validated and repaired my file and also SUPERVALIDATED my file. I show no errors. 7. Finally I decided to try a brand new file without any of my accounts and I added the Chase account as my first register account and tried to connect ONLINE services. That also failed to download anything. It did give the ending balance though. But no transactions were downloaded.

I am running out of things to do. If you come up with anything let me know. Thanks so much.

    Hello @30yruserqkn,

Please be aware that missing transactions/transactions not downloading from Chase is currently a known issue. You can bookmark this Community Alert to receive any updates, when available, and know when the issue is resolved.

If you haven't already done so, please backup your Quicken file and try the troubleshooting from the alert:

    1. Go to the account register you're having trouble with
    2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right
    3. Click Update Now
    4. Repeat this process for all of your Chase accounts

If that doesn't show new transactions in the register, then try this:

    1. Go to Tools > Account List
    2. Click Edit on your impacted Chase account
    3. On the Online Services tab, click Reset
    4. Follow any prompts to log in, if needed, and then update your accounts again

Finally, if the above steps aren't helpful, you can refresh your financial institution information in Quicken:

    1. Choose Tools menu > Online Center.
    2. Select the financial institution you want to update from the Financial Institution drop-down menu.
    3. While pressing CTRL+F3 on your keyboard, click Contact info at the top of the screen. You must do all three at the same time.
    4. Select the financial institution you want to update, and click Refresh. The branding and profile information will be listed under current status as needs updating.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Update/Send, enter your financial institution Password, and select OK. Follow any additional instructions.

If you're still missing transactions after following the steps above, please reach out to us at Customer Care so we can investigate further. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.

    I hope this helps!

I solved this issue doing the following: ONE LAST THING THAT WORKED and fixed my issue. Everything is now posting correctly and downloads are accurate on all accounts: I had a PERSONAL Chase checking account and a separate NON CONNECTED TO SAME LOG IN BUSINESS credit card account with Chase. Two different log ins to my Chase financial online banking. In Quicken, I had my credit card account listed as a business account and the checking account as personal.

I disconnected both accounts from chase online services.

Next I deleted all the fields in the quicken account register that referenced the account number and banking information by clicking EDIT on the register accounts and deleting the content.

I could be wrong, but to be certain that Quicken was not confusing personal with business, I changed my credit card that was marked business in my register to be PERSONAL. Now both accounts had all online erased and they were in my PERSONAL account area of my register.

    I did a refresh below to make sure my financial institution was clean while both of my accounts were marked personal. See below;

    1. Choose Tools menu > Online Center.

Select the financial institution you want to update from the Financial Institution drop-down menu.

While pressing CTRL+F3 on your keyboard, click Contact info at the top of the screen. You must do all three at the same time.

Select the financial institution you want to update, and click Refresh. The branding and profile information will be listed under current status as needs updating.

    Click OK.

Click Update/Send, enter your financial institution Password, and select OK. Follow any additional instructions.

Then I set up online for each of my CHASE account log ins. Now everything is working.

Hi there. I think I have the same issue. The chase business credit card if it is correctly entered to the business side, it will only show the current balance with no transactions listed. However, if I label them incorrectly as personal, they would show up.

Is there a fix for this issue pending? I don't want to have to set up a seperate personal account to add my business expenses.

    Thanks.

    Hello @huc2015,

The issue was reported to the proper channels. I don't have any status updates. To contribute to the investigation, I recommend going to Help>Report a Problem, and sending a problem report with a brief description of the issue you're encountering and with the log files attached (they should be pre-selected).

While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.

    Thank you!

    Quicken Kristina
