Intermittent errors with two factor authentication for E*Trade Bank


I am using Quicken Classic (subscription) for Windows. I get errors intermittently when updating my E*Trade Bank accounts which have two factor authentication. Sometimes Quicken doesn't prompt me to enter the authentication code and then gives me an error and asks if I have recently changed my password. If I try the update again, it does prompt me for the code, and then it works fine.
