Quicken adds extra cash balance to fidelity net benefits doubling actual value

I see this topic popping up all the time without a resolution. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

To troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? Is the extra amount being added by a placeholder? Is it a duplicate transaction? Is it a number that is reflecting incorrectly in Quicken with no transaction to explain it?

This issue has been reported several times over the past 2 years year but in most cases the discussions have been closed and archived. Here is one that is still open

The issue appears to be related to the account being set to Simple mode.
