Transactions added to the mobil app aren't downloading to the Mac desktop version of Quicken

I'm new to Mac, but a long time Quicken user. I'm having a similar problem but transactions added to the mobil app aren't downloading to the Mac desktop version of Quicken. I followed the instructions above to reset the cloud account, shut down and reopened Quicken, and ran the update. Still no transactions. What's more is that now I Cann't find the "preferences" option to retract my steps. I'm trying to decide if I want to make a permanent switch from the Windows version of Quicken to the Mac version. I'm reluctant to create a VM with Windows just to run Quicken.

Are you performing a Cloud Sync on your mobile application after adding transactions and then again on your desktop application upon opening?
