Why does the Profit & Loss Report not have 'transaction exchange rate' option?

This seems an obvious oversight but the Profit & Loss Report does not have the 'transaction exchange rate' option tick box for non Canadian currency bank accounts for the report. Therefore it is impossible to find the actual income in Canadian dollars converted at the actual transaction date exchange rate.
