At this time we have identified that users with Congressional Federal Credit Union are receiving "Sorry. We've encountered an error. (It's not your fault.)" in Quicken for Windows, and "An unexpected error occurred Care Code: -1001" in Quicken for Mac.

This has been escalated internally, though we do not have an ETA at this time.

UPDATE 3/8/24

Congressional Federal Credit Union instructs customers to use Direct Connect as an alternative because they do not support EWC as a connection method. We suggest switching connection methods to resolve this error. To switch connection methods, please follow the steps in this support article. Thanks!

UPDATE 3/16/24

If this is the first time setting up Direct Connect, Congressional Federal Credit Union requires you to authorize Direct Connect through their Mobile App. Quicken incorrectly prompts you to use the website. Please make sure you are using Congressional Federal Credit Union's mobile app to authorize Direct Connect.
