On editing the date of multiple transactions simultaneously

I track my monthly transactions on a cash flow basis, so I am more interested in when the transaction (primarily credit card) has been paid than on when the transaction occurred. I confirmed with Quicken Support that you can only edit the payee and the category, but not the date. Therefore, I am forced to edit each transaction individually rather than highlight a group and change the date all at one time.

I transferred all of my Vanguard shares to Schwab, but forgot to change the date on the transfer entry. Now I have to painstakingly change the date on every Vanguard entry individually, which is drearily slow and amounts to torture. You can bet I'll be careful on future transfers, but it would be nice to change the date in one swell foop.

Unfortunately, being able to bulk edit transaction dates is still not a feature in Quicken for Mac. If you haven't done so already, I recommend adding your vote and a comment to this Idea Post, which is requesting that functionality:

Idea posts that get enough votes may be implemented in future versions of Quicken.
