Error with PennyMac

Same problem here. And still waiting for the URL to be updated. As a side note, I now have the CC-800 error as I tried to deactive/reactivate, which failed. So used an older backup copy that still had the account set-up. System is prompting me to once again deactive/reactivate account. I decided to keep the account "live" as I at least have my loan balance as of 4/9/24.
Hope Quicken fixes this soon.

@Quicken Jasmine It's been about three weeks since your last update on the main alert post. Can you please provide an update? Would you please reach out internally to see if the devs have an ETA?

@Quicken Jasmine How has this not been fixed yet? and why are we not getting updates any more?

Also having this issue. Glad to know it's a known issue and I hope it gets fixed soon.

Its been like this for weeks if not months. Hard to find good help I guess.

I could see why this might take a while to fix since we are talking at least 2 different entities with competing priorities. What isn't acceptable is not receiving regular updates on the status. Since it only takes a few seconds to type an update, the only assumption is the issue isn't assigned to anyone yet to work. In the meantime the only way for me to see if it is fixed is to go through the process of setting up a new account via tools. Unfortunately I keep getting a "Oops we are having a problem CC-511 error"

That’s an excellent point. [Removed - Inaccurate: Quicken Home Loans/Rocket Mortgage is not owned by the same parent company as Quicken].

Months into this and three weeks since the last update for the similar FDP-163 error code. [Removed - Rant]

Where is my credit to my Quicken subscription for a 1/2 working Quicken for 3 months now. [Removed - Rant]

I've been using quicken for a very long time. More and more sites are not permitting connections from apps like Quicken. Within the past couple of months, I've lost access to Pennymac, Amex Savings accounts, and Optum Bank. Amex and Optum are saying it's for security reasons. I can deal with losing access to Pennymac since transactions are few each month. Banking sites are more important to me.
I hate to say this, but unless a solution is found, I feel like this is the beginning of the end for tools like Quicken.

I can access my Amex credit card just fine. Why would Amex kill a banking account and not the CC?

Respectfully…what am I paying for? CC-511 and CC-501 error messages? My annual subscription renewal is in jeopardy Quicken team.

OK - so after several months, it looks like Quicken is still broken as it pertains to PennyMac. How can software like this be broken for so long? I've read that the the final issue is that Quicken is looking for PennyMac at URL (A) but it really should be URL (B). Moreover, I've also read that the only one that can fix this issue is PennyMac, though the issue with in Quicken's software. SO - I finally replied to one of the quarterly emails from the Quicken CEO who always claims that customer satisfaction is priority #1 next to security. It took a MONTH to get a reply back from that individual/assistant/department and he/they were absolutely shocked that this issue has been around since March and Quicken has posted no progress at all other then "check back" or "we can' fix this". I also relayed that the board moderators seem to edit/remove posts that in anyway critical of the way this issue is being handled.
SO - as discussed, I will post this update (as you requested), take the screen snap/recording and then post back to the CEO/whomever to see if there is still ZERO progress whatsoever.

For those asking for the email address I used, I can point you to Mr. Dunn's quarterly emails (I did tell them that I would not publish it directly and I should keep to that as requested).
From there you can see how I was able to get in touch with him/his people. I highly doubt it is him, though it comes off that way. Perhaps he/they will reply more quickly to you, but I sent my initial emails in early June and did not hear back until after the July 4th holiday.

Fuggettaboutit. This is the bottom line.
At this time we no longer support Financial Aggregators. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you, Kimberly.

The response reported above from Quicken by bobbydylan is disappointing.

If Quicken is not supporting than "PennyMac Home Loan Solutions" should not show up as an option when adding a new account through tools.

They should take it down so as not to confuse people. You should also notice that the website pennymacusa.com doesn't exist anymore. It's now pennymac.com

If you are genuinely concerned about PennyMac integration with Quicken then I would highly recommend that you call PennyMac customer service, explain the issue, and ask to be escalated to a supervisor. The number is 800-777-4001.
After discussing the matter with the first-level agent, it became painfully clear that they were unfamiliar with Quicken and how it works with financial institutions. She wanted to lean me toward changing my password and trying another browser . Sheesh.
The supervisor I spoke with said she was aware of the issue and was aware that there were currently no plans to fix the issue. I asked her to escalate the matter to Product Management within PennyMac and she promised me a callback after she had discussed that with them.
If only one or two of us are calling about the issue, PennyMac will not consider it a priority. Please take time to call and voice your concern.

Worth a try MS State dawg but I doubt it will help. Only a small percentage of Pennymac mortgage holders also use Quicken. Besides, what are we going to do? Cancel our mortgage with Pennymac. LOL

They might care if you tell them that you're disappointed and will not be recommending PennyMac to anyone going forward.

Welp, they just closed the alert on this issue. I really hope that's not an indicator of its priority on Quicken's list.

Here's the response I got from PennyMac:
Unfortunately, the Quicken aggregator does not allow for our 2-Factor authentication process within our security features, which is designed to protect you as our customer. Because your security is important to us, this is not something we foresee changing in the future. Thank you,
Sincerely,
The Pennymac Team0 -
That is odd. When connecting to my checking and savings account at my bank, Quicken is able to query me for the two factor token that my bank sends me via text message. I would say that someone is not being truthful.
