How to record a security exchange: AIGPX to AZNIX
Windows Quicken Premier version R56.9
Apparently AIGPX is now AZNIX. The transactions from brokerage download removes all shares of AIGPX and then adds all shares of AZNIX with no total price change. Share prices are different. This doesn't feel right so open to suggested alternate method of recording. Or should I just accept transactions as downloaded? Haven't accepted downloaded transactions yet.

Have you been out to the company's website to see what happened in the real world. Or, asked your broker?
Without knowing what really happened, we're a bit hamstrung re: providing suggestions.
Sounds like some sort of corporate merger to me … but it's your responsibility to research.

It helped a great deal.
4) Sometimes a mutual fund has a share class conversion, where the
shares of one fund are "converted" into a different class of shares of
the same fund. This is a non-taxable event and you should use a Mutual
Fund Conversion for this.Used this and it solved the issue.
Thanks!!
