Quicken for Mac Startup

Quicken Mac Subscription Member ✭✭
For the past few days, Quicken is unable to open my file and requires me to restore from a recent backup. When I do, I often lose category information previously stored.

Do you receive any specific error messages when attempting to open the data file? If so, could you please provide a screenshot of that error message?
If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
