Number of issues

I WAS using Quicken Classic Business and Home for Mac. Purchased because I am an independent contractor/cponsultant and it seemed to have the simplicity but the features I needed (like invoicing). Once I paid and started setting up there were a few issues….

  1. Liberty Federal Credit Union - This is a bank issue…shows auto loans as a bank account so that messed with finances. Just wanted anyone to know in case they use that
  2. No invoicing ability with Mac (did not see that listed anywhere when I was going through the website).

It is what it is….my main issue that I wanted to put out there was the poor customer service. It is like a puzzle to get on the chat because it keeps pushing you through to AI….when I finally got to an agent "Jorge" both times…who said their name was George….(sure it is different people that is what they all say their name is)….the customer service was very lacking. Tried to engage with a friendly statement as I know how hard customer service can be but got coldness back. People reach out because they are having problems with their program or don't know how to do something and it can be frustrating. This person gave no suggestions other than use a windows based and he couldn't answer any questions about windows, I would have to ask them.

I have canceled my subscription, just because I don't want to have to run my finances on a separate computer. This program doesn't work for me unfortunately and I appreciated the refund. I just wanted to put it out there that Quicken should up their game on the customer service side and make their customers want to stay. I honestly felt like this customer service person could care less if they helped or not.

    Hello @SMurphy,

I'm sorry to hear that Quicken for Mac didn't meet your needs and that you had a negative experience with Support. The invoicing feature isn't available in Quicken Business & Personal for Mac currently, but it is planned to be added in the future. If you are considering giving Quicken another try when the feature is added, then I recommend bookmarking this Idea post so that you'll be notified when the feature is implemented:

When I check our website, it does show that the invoice feature is Windows only, but it's easy to miss since you wouldn't even see the asterisk unless you clicked on "Send invoices in a flash" to see more details, then scroll to the bottom of the page to see what that * at the end of the description means. I forwarded your feedback to our marketing team.

I forwarded your interactions with Support to a supervisor for review and coaching.

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Quicken Kristina
