Dollar Direct Savings Add Acount Does Not Work

Has anyone gotten Dollar Savings Direct to connect? Dollar Savings Direct is listed as a financial institution in Add Accounts. Note that under the logo / bank name there is "NA".

The web link under the "NA" is valid. Dollar Savings Direct is the online division of Emigrant Bank. If this bank is not a financial institution, it should be removed.

Hi. When I try to connect to my account using the Dollar Savings Direct listed financial institution, it tells me my User ID and password are incorrect (Error CC-503). Note that the log on and password are correct and work on the Dollar Savings Direct website. What does the "N/A" mean? All other financial institutions in Add Account have a telephone number where Dollar Savings Direct as "N/A"

I just contacted Dollar Savings Direct. The bank advised that it only supports the Web Connect feature to allow a customer to manually download 90 days of transactions from its website. Does not make sense to me, but It appears that connecting to the bank using Quicken's "Add Account" is not a service Dollar Savings Direct provides.

Perhaps Quicken can confirm this with the financial institution or it should remove this bank from the Add Account FI list.

    Thank you for your replies,

In this instance, N/A would mean that at the time they were added to the list, they hadn't provided a customer service phone number.

Since you're getting a CC-503 error, I recommend following the troubleshooting from this article on CC-503 errors:

Step One: Verify your bank login information

    1. Type your password/PIN into a text application, such as Notepad, WordPad, or other text/word application.
      • Note: This is a way of confirming you don't have typographical errors in this field.
    2. Highlight the "confirmed" password and then copy it (Ctrl + C) and paste it (Ctrl + V) into the appropriate fields in Quicken.

Step Two: Verify your bank login at the bank's website

    1. Go to your bank's website and confirm that you're able to log in with the expected username and password.
    2. Once you are logged in, review your account at the website for notifications (such as pending messages in a mailbox or message center) to confirm if further action is required to grant Quicken access.
      • Some banks will require a separate login, password, or both to access accounts on third-party software. Also note, you may need to go to your settings at the website to access these prompts for new credentials.

New passwords: If you are required to make a new password, be aware that some special characters may cause errors in Quicken. These special characters are the ampersand (&), left carat (<), right carat (>), backslash (\), and forward slash (/). Additionally, Quicken does not support passwords longer than 32 characters.

Step Three: Update your password(s) in Quicken

    1. Backup your Quicken file.
    2. Choose Tools > Account List.
    3. Click the Edit button next to the account you want to change the login ID for.
    4. In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
    5. Click Reset Account.
    6. Enter the correct login ID and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset.
    7. If prompted, carefully LINK the accounts found to the existing accounts in Quicken.
    8. After the reset process is complete, attempt your online session again.

Please let me know how it goes!

Thanks for your instructions exactly. None of them changed the error CC-503. Still get User ID and Password are incorrect. As mentioned in my previous post, The bank advised that it only supports the Web Connect feature to allow a customer to manually download 90 days of transactions from its website.
The person with whom I spoke to at Dollar Savings Direct told me that the bank does NOT use the "Add Account" functionality to connect to it via Web Connect.

If correct, this financial institution should be removed from the add an account list.

I ask again if Quicken can confirm this issue with Dollar Savings Direct. Thanks

    Thank you for your reply,

When I check our FIDIR listing (a listing that shows which financial institutions are supported and via which connection methods), I see Dollar Savings Direct is listed and it shows they support Express Web Connect.

If the financial institution decided to no longer support that connection method, they would need to have their Account Manager notify the aggregation partner. Unfortunately, that is not a process which can be initiated on Quicken's end.

    Thank you!
