Quicken desktop vs Web based version - Simplifi - (edit)
.
I use Quicken to monitor our bank (3) and credit card (4) accounts. My wife writes the non-Quicken checks and I download the damage from the banks and CC accounts. Then I compare the check registers and credit card receipts with the statements. I have been able to do this with 2 wives and about 50 years. However, now something is going on that I can not connect to Quicken cloud and I do not know where to start or just quit Quicken.

Hello @CTMathews,
Could you please elaborate and provide further details regarding being unable to connect to the Quicken Cloud? Are you receiving any specific error code(s) and/or message(s) that you can provide us with here, please?
It may also be helpful if you could provide a screenshot of what you're seeing. If needed please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
Thank you!
This is the "rejection" I have been getting for weeks.
I'd like to just make a couple of comments from your screen shot -
1 - Quicken CLOUD is a very specific term - and I don't think the error message is related to that unless you are using SYNC - it appears to be the Quicken "services" - https://www.quicken.com/support/what-quicken-cloud/
2 - Noticed what appear to be Charge/Credit cards in the account list on the left. Usually all Charge/Credit cards have a "red/negative" balance - since they are liabilities to be paid off at some point - yours for some reason are showing as - black & POSITIVE.
3 - here is a typical Register for Charge/Credit cards - … Charge - for actual charges Payment - for the payment transfer from Checking to the CC account to pay off the balance Amount - the +/- against the account (kind of a combined tally of Charge + Payment) Balance - the outstanding balance to be paid
