I keep receiving error OL0293A when trying to download investment data from SEI. It's been going on for 2-3 days. Problems? Recommended resolutions?

    Hello @Lee Wunsch,

If you haven't already, please take a moment to review and follow this error-specific support article regarding error OL-293.

Tried your recommended options. The connection being made is to a single investment institution with four different accounts. Error received for the institution itself that includes those four accounts. Next steps?

    Thank you for following up.

If the error persists after following the guidance provided in the support article previously linked above, then as stated at the bottom of the article, you will need to contact the financial institution for further assistance: "You will need to contact your financial institution for assistance. Quicken does not have access to the financial institution's servers to be able to correct the problem.

This may require you request to speak with an online services specialist that handles transaction download issues at the financial institution. If your financial institution states they can't assist, an escalation with them may be necessary."

We apologize for any inconvenience! Thank you.

I have been no able to connect to SEI for several days, too. However, all I get is "An error has occurred." There is no error code. I guess I will need to contact SEI.

I just got off a long call with SEI; they won't talk to customers - they only talk to advisors. The result is that, as a very long-time Quicken customer, I cannot fix the problem. Quicken can't/won't fix it and SEI won't fix it. Any creative ideas?

Have your advisor call SEI, maybe with you on the line?

I am also getting the same error for SEI and my advisor was told to report it to Quicken. I called Quicken support and was told, after looking at my logs, by Quicken tech that SEI's server is reporting an internal error. So, I think this needs to be escalated at SEI

SEI had no interest in responding. We're caught between two bureaucracies who don't want to take responsibility for errors!

I have been getting same error. I was able to talk with a Tech support person, and he gave me a Ticket # to use next time I call. I cannot get into my Dashboard without a one-time Pin # now. I am going to contact them again later. I will update this platform if I discover some answers!

The problem with logging in was they had me remove all of my cookies. The next time you log in, you have to click on remember me! That solved that problem. The OL-293-A problem has not been solved. Yesterday I was sent to a higher technical dept where they issued me the ticket #. I wasn't sent there today, but the person looked up the ticket # and says no resolution has been found yet.

Yesterday, I was told by my financial advisor that SEI is preparing to roll out a new website this fall - likely in September. The site will be a complete "redo" of the current site which is suppose to make it easier for customers to interact with the site and provide better integration for software apps like Quicken. It sounds like it will be tightening up ability to access data similar to what commercial banks have done the past 2-3 years. The person my advisor spoke with was not aware of the problem we've been discussing; as of this morning, there is still no resolution. Still looking for potential solutions or work-a-rounds.

Hi @Lee Wunsch, Just wanted to document that I too have been getting a QL-293-A error message in lieu of an update since Jul 15. I've been hoping you were going to have more success than you have gotten so far. Please, in the event you get some satisfaction on this issue, please post on this thread. I'll keep watching and hoping.😁

My SEI download functioned normally this morning about 10 minutes ago.
